OpenAI Updates GPT-5.6 Sol, Adds Think Button for Free Users

OpenAI rolled out multiple updates: Plus and Pro users get the updated GPT-5.6 Sol for everyday chats alongside the new reasoning slider, while the version powering Work and Codex remains unchanged. Additionally, with the intelligence upgrade of GPT-5.6 Luna, Free and Go users can now use the “Think” button to trigger deeper reasoning for harder questions.
