Cloudflare Launches AI Search Updates, Intern Builds EmDash Plugin
dinasaur_404 · x · 2026-08-07
Cloudflare announced new features for AI Search, making it easier for developers to build search engines for their own data. Key updates include indexing sites without a complete sitemap, serving search from a custom hostname, restricting query access, and searching multiple instances from a single URL.
Additionally, a Cloudflare intern developed an AI Search plugin for EmDash. With just a few lines of configuration, users can implement automatically synchronizing semantic search in their blogs. This feature is already powering Cloudflare's official EmDash blog.
