AI Code Flood Prompts Linux to Remove Many Hardware Drivers

Linux kernel developers are removing numerous hardware device drivers, including mice, Ethernet cards, amateur radio, NFC, and legacy hardware from 2002, due to the overwhelming influx of AI-generated code submissions and bug reports. Maintainers note that these old drivers were not a significant burden until recently, but AI and fuzzing tools have increased the workload.
