According to Bloomberg, Sequoia's top partners determined that the firm could absorb a maximum loss of $2.5 billion on its Anthropic investment without facing existential threats.
Furthermore, Sequoia has returned over $5 billion to investors so far this year, excluding SpaceX. The firm is also shifting away from its evergreen-only fund structure, giving LPs the option to choose traditional 10-year funds.
