Google Demos Fully Offline Gemma Translator Powered by Raspberry Pi 5

Google Gemma officially shared a prototype called the Gemma Translator, a fully offline translation device. Built on a Raspberry Pi 5 with a connected microphone and speaker, the hardware is powered by the Gemma 4 E2B model.
Housed inside a custom 3D-printed case, this highly portable prototype demonstrates the practical deployment capabilities of open-source large models on edge and consumer-grade hardware.
