Google's WeatherNext Predicts Cyclones 24 Hours Earlier Than SOTA

Google's WeatherNext Cyclones model has been featured in a new Nature paper. The AI model achieves a major breakthrough in predicting cyclone track, intensity, and wind structure, providing over 24 extra hours of lead time on average compared to the previous state-of-the-art.
