Developer Builds Goal Agent to Automatically Supervise and Drive Opus 5 Coding
gandamu_ml · x · 2026-08-06
While building a remote app to control coding agent CLIs, a developer discovered a method to use a 'Goal Agent' to supervise and drive the Claude Opus model. The author notes that since Opus is incomplete on its own, pairing it with a Goal Agent creates a more complete system. The developer now exclusively uses the /goal command when running Opus to automate task supervision and progression.
