Mark Zuckerberg introduced the coding agent mechanism of Muse Code. Unlike most tools that spin up new sub-agents for every prompt, Muse Code keeps specialized background agents active throughout the entire session to build up context.
- Persistent Context: Background agents stay active continuously instead of starting from scratch.
- Parallel Processing: For large jobs, it fans out to separate sub-agents working in parallel in isolated worktrees, leaving the main working copy untouched.
- Testing: In internal testing, it successfully built six features for a game simultaneously with zero collisions.
