Sapiom Raises $35M Series A, Launches Unified API to Solve Agent Payment Pain Points
SucceededMind · x · 2026-08-06
Startup Sapiom announced a $35 million Series A funding round led by Dragonfly, Accel, Anthropic, and others.
Alongside the funding, the company launched infrastructure built for the agentic economy. Its first product tackles the friction of multi-service integration: instead of developers managing separate accounts and credit cards for models, SMS, and voice APIs, Sapiom abstracts this into a single API key.
Built by a former Shopify payments engineering lead, the platform pays downstream providers on the developer's behalf and allows setting hard spending caps to prevent autonomous agents from overspending.
