Researchers at the University of Chicago found that advanced AI can exhibit predictive patterns similar to the human brain when a story takes a twist.
While the AI doesn't feel shock, its predictions act very much like how our brains react to surprises. This means AI can understand story tension in a way that mirrors humans, potentially guessing our surprise before we even realize it.
