Meta Launches Muse Spark 1.2 and Muse Code with Data-for-Discount Pricing
alexandr_wang · x · 2026-08-06
Meta has released Muse Spark 1.2, a coding-focused model, alongside its new coding agent Muse Code. The model features significant scaling in training compute for coding tasks, complex debugging, and end-to-end developer workflows.
Interestingly, the API uses a tiered pricing strategy. The standard model is priced similarly to Gemini 3.6 Flash. However, if users opt in to let Meta use their data for product improvement, they can access a heavily discounted contributor version, bringing costs down to the level of GPT 5.6 Luna.
