Seedance 2.5 is described as the end of the "reroll era" in AI video generation, landing usable shots in just 1-2 attempts instead of burning credits on repeated tries.
The model clears new thresholds in realism, cinematography, and narrative control. The API is launching on BytePlus, and creators can currently test it on Lumina, featuring support for up to 30-second continuous narrative videos and 50 full-modal references.
