Singapore-based Physical AI company Rodedia announced a new round of funding worth tens of millions of dollars, led by several top Southeast Asian VCs with participation from first-tier dollar funds and industrial players in smart manufacturing and large models. Previous investors include those related to Google, a16z, NVIDIA, and Amazon. The funding will be used for next-generation multimodal sensing hardware, a real-world data production engine, global collection and delivery capabilities, and data validation systems for robot foundation models and world models.

Ropedia's core product is the Real-World Experience Engine, comprising three layers: Sense (sensing hardware like the head-mounted HOMIE), ExperienceEngine (automated data production), and Deliver (datasets and model validation). Its flagship dataset Xperience-10M contains 10 million real-world interaction clips, 10,000 hours of first-person video and audio, over 10 synchronized modalities, totaling nearly 1PB. It has been downloaded over 2.7 million times on HuggingFace, ranking 2nd on the platform, and is used by models such as Qwen-VLA, MolmoMotion, ACE-Ego-0, and τ₀-WM. Ablation studies show that using human video data improves task success from 68.3% to 72.8%. The company has served over 20 global robotics and foundation model companies and plans to release a new multimodal system in August 2026.
