Minimax H3 Generates Severe Eye Artifacts; Higher Resolution Doesn't Fix It
mockinfox · reddit · 2026-08-06
A developer pointed out on Reddit that using Minimax H3 (int8 highest quality model) to generate videos results in very noticeable artifacts around human eyes.
The author compared the outputs of Wan 2.2 and Minimax H3, noting that even when using the most upvoted Civitai workflows and tweaking output resolutions and aspect ratios, these awful quality issues persist. They are confused as to why few people in the community are discussing this flaw.
