A developer shared a remarkable experience using the AI coding tool Codex. Faced with 1.5TB of video footage accumulated over ten weeks of cycling across Japan, he used a single prompt to have Codex generate a native Mac application.

The app automatically tags video clips, maps timestamps to GPX tracks, and allows for rapid triaging of the massive media archive using keyboard shortcuts, drastically streamlining the footage editing workflow.
