Seedance 2.5 Prompting Trick: Batch Prompts Yield Extra Angles for Edits
beechinour · x · 2026-08-06
A creator shared a highly effective prompting strategy for generating videos in Seedance 2.5, especially if you are doing the editing yourself: do not prompt 1:1, instead generate in 15-second montage batches.
- Batching: Turn every 5 seconds of script into one 15s montage prompt.
- Instruction: Tell the model: "I'm cutting this myself in Premiere, load the montage with extra shots and options."
- Results: It returns with alternative angles and coverage you never thought to ask for. While many extra shots might be unusable, you occasionally get an absolute banger you could never have planned.
This mimics shooting a ton of coverage on a real set, providing way more options and room for personal taste in the edit.
