Google's AI brain drain: top minds including Jeff Dean and Noam Shazeer leave in two months

According to a list compiled by X user @haider1, Google has lost several top AI talents in the past two months, including chief scientist Jeff Dean, Gemini co-lead Noam Shazeer, senior fellow Sanjay Ghemawat, AlphaFold co-creator and Nobel laureate John Jumper, DeepMind VP Oriol Vinyals, Google Brain co-founder Quoc Le, senior AI researcher Jonas Adler, and research scientist Alex Turner. The exodus raises concerns about Google's competitive position in AI.
