According to Reuters, Demis Hassabis will explore research and strategy related to the societal impacts of AGI in his new role at Alphabet, with very few direct reports.
In a memo, he stated that he will spend more time with Isomorphic Labs, a drug discovery startup, acting as its CEO and focusing heavily on its operations.
