AWS DynamoDB General Availability Enables Native Vector Search

AWS has announced that vector search is now generally available in DynamoDB. Developers can directly store embeddings as an attribute on their items and use a new index type to perform searches.
This update eliminates the need to build and maintain complex synchronization pipelines between DynamoDB and external vector databases, significantly simplifying the architecture for AI Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications on AWS.
