Developer Ditches Claude for Kimi, Citing Less Gaslighting and Side Quests
MarcJSchmidt · x · 2026-08-06
A developer recently expressed immense relief after completely switching off Claude a few days ago. They complained that fighting with Claude Opus 5/Fable all day caused a massive competitive disadvantage, noting the model frequently exhibited "gaslighting," ambiguous responses, and frustrating "side quests."
In contrast, the developer found that models like Sol and Kimi (Moonshot) simply get the job done, describing the experience as unbelievably better.
