Oriol Vinyals, a core executive at Google DeepMind and co-lead of the Gemini project, announced his departure from the company. He reflected on his 13-year tenure at Google, where he contributed to major milestones including AlphaStar and Gemini. Vinyals is leaving to start a new venture named Discover.
