Context Engineering: Managing Agent Sources with a Dynamic Trust Curve

As agents run longer and touch more systems, context engineering is becoming the core discipline. A developer recently built a context pipeline that stops trusting all sources equally.
Instead, it scores sources based on historical accuracy: sources that recently made errors are buried, and trust earned in the past decays if the source goes quiet. By dynamically adjusting these weights, the pipeline prioritizes reliable sources, improving the efficiency and quality of information retrieval.
