AuralKit Released: Wrapping Apple's iOS 26 Real-Time Speech-to-Text APIs

A developer released AuralKit, a lightweight Swift package wrapping the SpeechAnalyzer and SpeechTranscriber APIs on iOS 26 and macOS 26.
The tool simplifies real-time speech-to-text development by handling microphone capture, buffer conversion, and model downloads. The latest 2.1.1 version fixed multiple critical bugs in the SpeechSession lifecycle, including a rejected start tearing down running sessions, a cancelled consumer bricking the system, and the mic staying live when stopped during setup.
