Google AI legends Jeff Dean, Sanjay Ghemawat, Oriol Vinyals, and Quoc Le are teaming up to found Discovery Loop, a new Public Benefit Corporation.
The four collaborators, who have worked together for 14 to 30 years, stated that the startup's mission is to automate machine learning, science, and engineering to accelerate discoveries and human progress. This marks a massive brain drain from Google and the beginning of a new chapter for these core figures.
