Cloudflare Open Sources Cloudflare OS, Launches AI Gateway and MCP Controls

Cloudflare announced the open-sourcing of Cloudflare OS, an in-house system designed to empower both employees and AI agents to collaborate better on tasks like coding, spreadsheets, slides, and summarization.
Alongside this, they introduced several updates for securing and managing AI agents:
- Identity-aware AI Gateway: Features cost controls.
- WriteGuard: Provides fine-grained controls for MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Agent Access model: A new access control model for agents.
