Yann LeCun Endorses Wayve's GAIA-4 World Model for Autonomous Safety Sim
ylecun · x · 2026-08-05
Alex Kendall, co-founder of Wayve, announced that their GAIA-4 model has been deployed for safety-critical simulation. The world model generates counter-factual replay examples involving cyclist and pedestrian interactions, all running in closed-loop.
Turing Award winner Yann LeCun endorsed the approach, replying "WM FTW!" (World Model For The Win) to the thread.
