Intelligence Co-founder Envisions a Marketplace for AI Model Capabilities
illscience · x · 2026-08-05
Intelligence co-founder Grace aims to build an "intelligence marketplace" for AI capabilities rather than just a leaderboard ranking models.
Currently, Design Arena evaluates models by having them attempt creative tasks and collecting user preference data on the results. Grace argues that, much like humans, models share a large baseline of general capabilities but vary in specific expertise, personality quirks, and risk appetite. In the future, she predicts it will become incredibly easy for companies and individuals to customize models for narrow purposes and sell access to them on a marketplace, realizing comparative advantage for machine intelligence.
