ComfyUI Node Enables MiniMax Video Upscaling with Disk Buffering for Lower VRAM

madcaddie15 · reddit · 2026-08-05

A developer updated their ComfyUI video tiling node pack to support MiniMax H3 using ref2va. The tool processes videos by splitting them into tiles and introduces a new disk buffering feature, significantly reducing the VRAM/RAM requirements to enable smaller GPUs to run the workflow.

The author demonstrated upscaling a 1568x678 clip to 3360x1440 in about 20 minutes on an RTX Pro 6000. Because every tile receives the same reference as the base video, the method achieves high fidelity and consistency while increasing resolution.
