Weaviate Query Agent Introduces Suggest Queries Mode
CShorten30 · x · 2026-08-05
Vector database company Weaviate announced a new Suggest Queries mode for its Query Agent, aiming to solve the "cold start" problem where users don't know what to ask in AI chat interfaces.
The mode supports two scenarios: first, starting a conversation by auto-generating relevant questions based on the dataset to help users discover capabilities; second, continuing a conversation by suggesting natural follow-up questions based on the current context. Officially described as a major quality-of-life upgrade for data-centric chat applications.
