A creator successfully generated a 10+ minute AI fan episode of Seinfeld. The script was generated by GLM 5.2, while the visuals were rendered using the Minimax h3 model for both text-to-video (t2v) and image-to-video (i2v).
Technical Implementation
- Workflow: Built with Python, ComfyUI API, and FFmpeg. All scene generation and stitching are driven by JSON data.
- Strategy: Fresh scenes use t2v, while scene continuations use i2v. The author noted that while the one-shot result is decent, regenerating specific scenes yields better quality and continuity.
- Limitations: The current pipeline struggles with movies or shows with complex background noise, but works exceptionally well for sitcoms like Seinfeld (though some supporting characters were absent from the training data).
The author plans to package this workflow into a standalone open-source app to overcome ComfyUI UI limitations.
