Countering LeCun: LLMs Are a Path to Superintelligence

Responding to Yann LeCun's claim that LLMs "in their current form, are just not a path towards human-level AI," the author offers a counter-perspective.
While agreeing that future AIs will likely look more like higher-dimensional world models (and noting that the current k-v cache is an antipattern), they argue that LLMs are absolutely the tools that will help us build these advanced systems. Thus, they are very much a path to superintelligence.
