Obsidian AI Editor Launches: Inline AI Editing Beyond the Chat Sidebar

A new AI Editor plugin is now available for Obsidian. Unlike traditional chat sidebars, this plugin embeds AI reviewing and QA capabilities directly within the editor interface.
Key features include:
- AI Review Panels: Users can define AI personas (Editors) via prompts or group them into Panels. These simulate target audiences reading from multiple perspectives, generating a scorecard with overall verdicts and top fixes.
- Surgical Inline Edits: All findings are anchored to exact text quotes. Users can accept or reject push-back replies inline, with all changes presented as diffs—nothing is overwritten automatically.
- Configuration & Privacy: Supports margin comments and an opt-in daemon mode for auto-refreshes. Configurations can live in your vault notes. It operates on a Bring Your Own Backend (BYOB) model and is desktop-only.
