Running Minimax H3 on RTX 3060 Takes 1.5 Hours for a 15s Clip, Dev Seeks Optimization
SMPTHEHEDGEHOG · reddit · 2026-08-05
A developer using an RTX 3060 (12GB VRAM) shared the painful experience of running the Minimax H3 FL2VA model locally. Even with Wan2GP and SageAttention2 enabled, generating a 15-second 480p video takes about 1.5 hours.
He is currently looking for further acceleration methods and asking if switching to ComfyUI or using the GGUF quantized version would help lower the hardware barrier.
