Liquid AI's New 2.6B Model Can Generate Valid CUDA Kernels
helloiamleonie · x · 2026-08-05
An early tester of Liquid AI's newly released LFM2.5-2.6B model reported a surprising capability: the model successfully generated valid CUDA kernels. This is a rare feat for a model of this size.
The tester is currently working on MXFP4 and MXFP8 GPTQ quants for the model and has also been doing some distillation work.
