MiniMax H3 Local Test: 5-Second Video in 50s on 96GB RTX PRO 6000

A developer tested the MiniMax H3 video generation model locally on an RTX PRO 6000 with 96GB of VRAM.

During the test, VRAM usage hovered around 40GB. For a 5-second text-to-video generation, an 864×480 resolution clip took about 50 seconds, while a larger 1376×768 clip took roughly 3 minutes and 50 seconds. The author's initial impression is that once the model fits comfortably in VRAM, the speed difference compared to RTX 5090 benchmarks isn't substantially large.
