AGI Definition Diluted? Blogger Proposes 0-5 Levels of AGI Belief

Theo Jaffee writes that the definition of "AGI" has been diluted to near meaninglessness, with some referring to better coding agents and others to an omnipotent God.
To clarify, he proposes a 0 to 5 "Levels of AGI-pilled" system inspired by Wittgenstein's philosophy:
- Level 0 (Chatbots): Believes current LLMs are stochastic parrots no different from early chatbots like ELIZA, viewing the AI boom as a scam.
- Levels 1 to 5: Represents a progressive belief in AI's capabilities and utopian potential.
The author argues that this taxonomy helps disambiguate discussions and understand true expectations, rather than broadly labeling someone as "AGI-pilled."
