New GitHub Copilot extension lets you control iOS Simulator from your IDE

Developer cschleiden released a GitHub Copilot extension that embeds an iOS Simulator canvas into the Copilot app, offering live simulator video, device selection and lifecycle controls, touch and keyboard input, rotation, screenshots, configurable streaming, and safe agent-control leasing. Requires macOS 15+, Xcode with iOS Simulator runtime, and Swift 6.1+. Install by pasting a prompt in Copilot and choosing user, project, or session scope.
