A Reddit user spotted an update in the ChatGPT web model picker UI that appears to leak unreleased model information. The new interface now shows an option named "5.6 Sol," which also allows users to select an "Instant" mode (medium and high).
The author shared screenshots of the change, noting that while it doesn't necessarily mean 5.6 is live, UI updates often暗示 OpenAI is internally testing or preparing to roll out new model variants.
