Claude Code Update: Worktree Isolation, Agent Permission Controls
ClaudeCodeLog · x · 2026-08-05
Claude Code CLI version 2.1.222 has been released, introducing 21 CLI changes.
Key highlights:
- Worktree Isolation: File edits and Bash commands are now fully isolated, blocking destructive git commands on the main repository.
- Agent Access Control: SendMessage now runs a permission classifier before dispatching to other agent sessions to enforce access restrictions.
- Tool Clarification: The Write tool description has been clarified to explicitly state that files are written to the local filesystem.
