Liquid AI Launches LFM2.5: 2.6B Parameter On-Device Agentic Model

Liquid AI has released the new LFM2.5-2.6B model, designed to run entirely on-device (phones, laptops, robots) as an autonomous agent. The model features 2.6 billion parameters, was pre-trained on 34T tokens, and supports a 128K context length.
The company highlights its balanced 'intelligence per watt' customizable on a single GPU. In benchmarks, it shows strong performance, scoring 77.83 on ToolSandbox, outperforming larger models like Qwen3.5-9B which is nearly 4x its size.
