The future of AI coding will likely leverage on-demand sandboxes/GPUs, code review, CI/CD pipelines, and eventually underlying cloud infrastructure to become a highly integrated environment. Since establishing a lasting competitive advantage purely at the model level is becoming difficult, solving end-to-end engineering delivery problems to build a product moat is the natural next step for the industry.
