Lateral Workshop Hosts AI Safety Program for Experienced Professionals in Berkeley

Lateral Workshop is running a 3-day in-person program in Berkeley, CA, from Sept 11–13, aimed at helping experienced professionals transition into high-impact careers in AI safety. In partnership with KairosAIS and BlueDotImpact, the workshop covers all travel, lodging, and meals for attendees. The application deadline is August 9.
Through talks, 1:1s, and small-group discussions, the program will feature experts from organizations like AI Futures Project, FAR.AI, and MIRI. It also includes an optional 3–6 month remote extension to help participants deepen their domain knowledge and find impactful roles.
