You.com Web Search API Adds x402 Support for Autonomous Agent Payments

You.com is adding x402 payment protocol support to its Web Search API. This update enables AI agents to discover, purchase, and use fresh web data on demand without requiring API keys, subscriptions, or human checkout flows.
For trading agents, this means search capabilities can now be programmatically purchased at the exact moment a decision needs to be made, pushing forward the agent-first search paradigm.
