Zilla 2.0 Natively Integrates MCP: Bridging REST and Kafka Without Wrappers

The open-source streaming-native gateway Zilla 2.0 has been released, integrating MCP as a native protocol alongside HTTP and Kafka. This aims to solve the enterprise pain point of building separate MCP servers for every API.
Key Features:
- Protocol translation: Directly converts existing REST APIs or OpenAPI contracts into MCP tools and resources.
- Event stream exposure: Supports exposing Kafka produce and consume operations via MCP.
- Enterprise governance: Provides namespace isolation, granular identity and policy control, and validates JSON, Avro, and Protobuf payloads.
This approach allows agents to seamlessly invoke REST APIs, consume Kafka events, and call other MCP tools under consistent security policies, with Prometheus and OpenTelemetry support.
