Arm China Goes All in AI: Launches Self-Developed NPU and Edge-to-Cloud Chips

As AI compute demand shifts from the cloud to edge devices and embodied intelligence, Arm China has established three core business lines: EdgeAI, PhysicalAI, and CloudAI. During a recent expo, the company showcased its proprietary 'Zhouyi' X3-Pro NPU, 'Stellar' 300 AIoT platform, and the next-gen 'Wudang' VPU.
These underlying technologies aim to solve power, bandwidth, and cost constraints across embedded devices, robot 'brains', and cloud inference. Arm China also initiated an 'Open Source AIOS Alliance' to lower the deployment barriers for AI agents across diverse terminal devices through hardware-software co-design.
