EasyCache Tested: Over 30% Speedup in Video Generation with Better Quality
Oni8932 · reddit · 2026-08-04
A developer tested the acceleration effect of EasyCache on video generation using an RTX 5070 Ti. Under identical resolution, seed, and prompt conditions, generating a 0.5-megapixel, 9-second video took 16.89 s/it without the tech, dropping to 11.35 s/it with it enabled—a roughly 33% speedup.
Interestingly, the author noted that the video quality with EasyCache was actually better, even though it slightly broke the 180-degree rule for hand continuity. The audio seemed similar between the two, so it was not isolated.
