Dev Builds Free 'Radar' Scanner to Catch Security Gaps in AI-Generated Websites

indishere · reddit · 2026-08-04

As AI coding tools (like Lovable) become popular, a developer noticed that many AI-generated websites lack basic browser-facing security setups, such as Content Security Policy (CSP) and clickjacking protection, even though they look and work fine.

To solve this, the author built Radar, a free website security scanner. It checks HTTPS, CSP, cookies, CORS, mixed content, and framework detection, generating a readable report with a grade from F to S+. Requiring no login or payment, the tool is designed for developers shipping websites quickly with AI to catch obvious security mistakes before launch.
