Target-Free Self-Calibration for Rolling Shutter Cameras

This paper presents the first self-calibration method for rolling shutter (RS) cameras that directly estimates camera intrinsics and the readout time ratio from image sequences without requiring calibration targets. By combining continuous-time trajectory estimation with correction fields, the method results in a unified dual-projection model. Real data experiments demonstrate the accuracy, robustness, and practical effectiveness of this approach in unconstrained settings.
