MiniMax H3 runs on a 12GB VRAM PC and kept identity from one reference image
ThirdWorldBoy21 · reddit · 2026-08-04
A user reports that MiniMax H3 can run on a modest PC and still preserve character identity surprisingly well.
- The test used the MiniMax-H3-FL2VA-Q3KM.gguf and qwen3vl-32B-MiniMax-H3-Q2K.gguf builds from RebelAI on Hugging Face.
- On a machine with 12GB VRAM and 16GB RAM, a 640×480 test clip took about 13 minutes to generate.
- The author says the model kept the character from a single reference image and followed the prompt well, while the PC remained usable during generation.
