A MiniMax H3 user shared a simple ComfyUI fix for crushed blacks: insert a contrast node between the VAE and the save-video node and lower the value to around 0.9.
They note that this recovers a noticeable amount of lost detail, and that better nodes may exist — but the default contrast node is enough to test the workaround quickly.
